
Afghanistan: 20 killed, 90 injured in car bomb attack on hospital in Zabul
At least 20 people were killed and 90 others injured after a suicide car bomb exploded outside a hospital in Qalati Ghilji in the southern province of Zabul, on Thursday.
"It was around 06:00 AM, after performing morning prayers, I came to the hospital and I requested from a friend to bring me breakfast, suddenly a blast happen nearby the hospital. I could not feel anything else," an injured man said.
Footage shows damage caused to the hospital building and vehicles as well as survivors being taken to hospital and victims receiving medical treatment.
Reports say many of the victims of the blast were medics working for the hospital as well as patients and their relatives.
