Red Star Belgrade supporters descended on Munich city centre ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League Group B opener against Bayern.

Ultras set off flares and chanted amidst a heavy police presence in and around Marienplatz.

Red Star fans, also known as Delije, are amongst some of the most famous in the world, renowned for their passion and fanaticism.

Their side face stern opposition in the form of German champions Bayern Munich, considered among the favourites for the tournament.
