USA: 'Never give up' - Thunberg speaks at climate demo outside White House
Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg joined other youth activists on a climate demonstration outside the White House in Washington D.C. on Friday.
Thunberg could be seen marching alongside demonstrators, while holding her trademark "School strike for climate" sign.
She briefly spoke during the protest, saying that she was overwhelmed by the amount of people who joined and the speeches that were made by other activists.
She concluded by saying "never give up, we will continue. See you next week on September 20th," referring to the Global Climate Strike that will kick off on that date.
Next week, Thunberg will pay a visit to the US Congress, where she and other young activists are expected to ask political leaders to address climate change issue.
