
Spain: Streets and houses flooded as Segura bursts its banks
Streets of the Spanish city of Orihuela were flooded after heavy rains hit the city in recent days, with Segura river bursting its banks, as footage filmed on Friday shows.
Some cars were dragged away by the water flow, several houses were also flooded.
The authorities advised people not to leave their homes unless it’s urgent.
The strong storm that hit the southeast of the Spanish peninsula has caused severe damage, killing three people, with several hundred more being evacuated.
At least 40 roads were blocked.
