Russia: We’re ready for dialogue with US, says Lavrov
Moscow is ready to resume dialogue with Washington on the basis of “mutual respect”, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in Vladivostok on Wednesday in an interview with Izvestia newspaper.
“We are always ready to resume these relations in those formats in which it is comfortable for the United States to have at this stage,” said Lavrov.
He noted that talks between the two countries in fighting terrorism had lately seen some development, adding that dialogue on cybersecurity between Moscow and Washington should be initiated.
Lavrov is in Vladivostok to take part in the 5th Eastern Economic Forum which runs between September 4-6.
