The Bilderberg Group met for its 67th Annual Conference in Montreux on Saturday and were joined by the likes of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and one of his predecessors Henry Kissinger.

French Minister Bruno Le Maire and relevant business personalities such as the former chairman of Google Eric Emerson Schmidt were also seen arriving at luxurious Montreux Palace.

The Bilderberg Meeting was first established in 1954 by Price Bernhard of the Netherlands and seeks to promote dialogue between North America and Europe under the so-called 'Chatham House Rule' debating system.
