Four people were arrested in connection with last week's bomb blast in the French city of Lyon on Monday, as confirmed by local authorities.

Footage shows the area surrounding one of the suspects' house cordoned off by police.

The suspected attacker is a 24-year-old IT student of Algerian nationality, prosecutors said. The suspect's parents were reportedly detained alongside him, while the fourth arrested is a minor who attends a local high school.

The Paris counter-terrorism prosecutor is investigating the case.

Thirteen people were injured, including a ten-year-old girl, after the explosion rocked the centre of Lyon on May 24.
