Germany: FC Bayern Munich players hit the beer garden with Bundesliga trophy
Hundreds of FC Bayern Munich fans gathered at the Paulaner Biergarten in Nockherberg, Munich on Saturday to welcome the newly crowned Bundesliga champions.
Footage shows crowds cheering as star player Franck Ribery walks off the team bus carrying the Bundesliga trophy the team won for a seventh straight year with victory on the final matchday over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Fans then gather in the beer garden as the team appeared on the balcony to parade the trophy and to pay tribute to Ribery, as well as Arjan Robben and Rafinha, who are all leaving the club at the end of the season.
Team Captain Manuel Neuer told the gathered fans "we had a final that we won today and I think it was definitely worth it. We were behind for the winter break, but we had the absolute will and motivation to do it together and I think we have a really great team and we did a good job and that's why we are deserving."
