State of Palestine: Palestinians hold Iftar on rubble of building destroyed by strikes
Palestinian families held an Ifatr dinner on the rubble of a building reportedly destroyed by Israeli strikes, in Gaza City on Saturday.
The Iftar dinner marks the end of the daily period of fasting for Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
"The message today is that we are making collective Iftar, fast breaking, on the rubble of this tower to confirm that this barbarous assault will not let the Palestinian people concede his right", one resident said.
The building, reportedly known as Qamar tower, consisted of 12 floors. The Iftar meal reportedly marked the first time that the families dined on the building's rubble.
