
USA: Google unveil new budget smartphones at annual I/O conference
Google launched the new Pixel 3A and 3A Plus smartphones at their annual developer's I/O conference in Mountain View, California, on Tuesday.
Prices for latest models start at at $400 (€357) and they will go on sale on May 8. Features include night sight in the camera, an adaptive battery and augmented reality built into Google Maps.
Chief Executive Sundai Pichar used his keynote speech to demonstrate how Google was improving existing services for users.
While on stage, Aparna Chennapragada, Vice President of Google Lens & AR, demonstrated new augmented reality functions.
