Germany: Wooden Trump statue greets drivers at roundabout in Kirchberg
A wooden statue of US President Donald Trump has appeared at a roundabout near the town of Kirchberg, as seen in footage from Friday.
Holding a plaque reading "Donald Trump says to his friends: Love Your Enemies", both in English and in German, the statue has attracted the eyes of the city's residents. With one hand, the wooden Trump holds the sign, while with the other, the thumb-up seems to greet those who pass by in their cars.
Footage shows artist Andy Assmann opening a crack in the statue from the head down to allow air to get inside the wooden structure, preventing the oak from which the statue was built from breaking due to exposure to the elements.
