Easter-themed display of Playboy ‘bunnies’ raises eyebrows in New Jersey
One man’s Easter-themed display of Playboy Bunnies on his front lawn has raised eyebrows in Clifton, New Jersey, as seen in footage filmed on Thursday.
The contentious display, which features several scantily-clad Playboy Bunny themed mannequins, has drawn the ire of local residents - one of whom even tore down the mannequins. After the incident, the display’s creator Dr. Wayne Gangi rebuilt it – this time even adding in male mannequins.
One neighbour viewing the display remarked: "I can see how the heavy-practice Christians would be upset with it but for me, I don't find it offensive. I think it's fun."
Gangi decided to channel the attention his display was attracting in order to raise money to rebuild France’s Notre Dame cathedral, adding a donation box at the front of the garden.
