      Footage filmed on Tuesday shows parts of Gaza City severely damaged during recent airstrikes carried out by the Israeli forces against Hamas.

      According to reports, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) bombed the office of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh located in the Nasser district in the west of Gaza City, causing destruction to the building and surrounding area.

      "Yesterday, at 8:00pm, I received a call from the Israeli army. We had to evacuate the house, because they wanted to bomb the building in front of our house, Haniyeh’s office. The house was evacuated. I and my children, my wife and my aunt were evacuated. Almost half an hour later, the building was bombed," recalled Raed Tahtawi, whose house was affected by the airstrikes.

      The Israeli military also targeted the building of the Al-Moltazem Insurance company, firing two missiles from F-16 fighter jets. The Israeli government claimed that the building was secretly used by an organisation that served Hamas' security and intelligence in Gaza.
