      Virginia Senator Tim Kaine showed his support for the self-proclaimed Venezuelan president Juan Guaido on a visit to the Colombian-Venezuelan border in Cucuta on Saturday.

      Kaine, formerly Hilary Clinton's running mate, also met with representatives of the opposition-controlled Venezuelan National Assembly.

      The group posed for pictures and went for a walk around the Simon Bolivar International Bridge.
