
Switzerland: Superquad and SUV concept turn heads at Geneva Motor Show
A unique superquad concept vehicle, and an autonomous SUV model designed by famed designer Walter de Silva caught the eye of visitors at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show in Geneva on Tuesday.
ENGLER AUTOMOTIVE LIMITED unveiled its F.F. Superquad. It reaches 100km/h from sandstill in less than 3 seconds, while its top speed is 350km/h (217mp/h). Running on a 5.2 liter V10 engine, it generates 850 HP. The aluminum chassis and the vehicle's carbon body are manufactured in-house, and it weighs about 850 kg (1,873 pounds).
Chinese company Arcfox presented the ECF Concept, designed by de Silva. It features a minimalist design and has a Level 3 autonomous driving. It has a 2,900 mm (114.2 in) long wheelbase and uses and electric powertrain with over 600 km (373 miles) of range.
The 89th Geneva International Motor Show is open to the public from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Palexpo.
