
Pakistan: Passengers stranded at Islamabad airport as flights to India cancelled
Long queues were seen at Islamabad International Airport in Pakistan's capital on Sunday, as international and domestic flights were cancelled due to tensions with India.
Passengers were stranded inside the airport, which serves the capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi, while flight companies were unable to resume flights from and to the neighbouring country.
A number of flights from Europe and the Middle East due to fly over Pakistani airspace were also diverted.
