Vietnam: Motorcades ready up after Kim-Trump summit 'cut short'
North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump's motorcades sprang into action in Hanoi on Thursday after reports broke that their historic meeting was to be unexpectedly cut short.
Pool sources cited the White House saying that the pair's joint agreement signing and working lunch may be cancelled, with their press conference brought forward.
The press conference was due to begin at around 4pm (9am GMT) local time but is now slated for 2pm (7am GMT).
The news has led to speculation as to what has transpired in the bilateral meetings between Trump and Kim.
The second Trump-Kim summit follows last year's round of talks in Singapore, which were the first ever between acting leaders of the United States and North Korea.
