      Sao Paulo football fans staged a mock funeral ahead of their game against Red Bull Brasil on Sunday, following the team's elimination from the Copa Libertadores.

      Angry supporters waved black crosses and let off smoke bombs to express their dissatisfaction at the running of the club.

      Once inside, fans reportedly stayed silent as their side played out a 0-0 draw.

      Brazil's most successful club, known colloquially as SPFC, have endured a torrid start to the season, facing humiliation after an early elimination from South America's top tier tournament.
