Colombia: Guaido arrives in Bogota ahead of Lima Group summit
Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido arrived in Bogota on Sunday ahead of meeting with US Vice President Mike Pence.
Guaido and Pence are expected to attend an emergency summit of the so-called Lima Group of countries to discuss the Venezuela crisis.
Venezuela today wakes up with a crisis that could have been addressed yesterday," Guaido said.
Violence broke out on Saturday along the Brazil-Venezuela border during an attempt to deliver humanitarian aid into Venezuela, while Venezuelan forces blocked the border.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has stated that the aid is a US plot to disguise an intervention in Venezuela.
