Germany: Schalke coach says team must be 'perfect' against Man City
FC Schalke 04 head coach Domenico Tedesco said the team will have to play perfectly in tomorrow's Champions League round of 16 match against Manchester City, while speaking at a press conference in Gelsenkirchen on Tuesday.
"We have to have a perfect day, we have to blow it all out. We owe it to ourselves and the fans of Schalke," Tedesco said.
Tedesco also said that Schalke midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has recovered from his last injury. "We still have one more training today. And we will see tomorrow, but basically he doesn't show any pain, he is very fit," the coach added.
Schalke finished their group-stage by ending up second place in Group D, with ten points, while City nabbed first place in Group F, with 13 points.
