Germany: Berlin dance-demo protests sexual violence against women
Hundreds of women protesters gathered in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Thursday, to demonstrate against sexual abuse and violence against women in Germany and around the world.
The protest, organised by 'One Billion Rising' has taken place since 2013 in hundreds of cities around the world, to call for an end to violence against woman.
"It is embarrassing, for this rich country, Germany, that every third day a women is killed by a partner or ex-partner and this is just the tip of the iceberg, the kids who are involved have not [even] been talked about yet," said one protester.
