Venezuela: Maduro threatens a 'new Vietnam' if US invades Venezuela
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro warned that his country will become a "new Vietnam against imperialism" if the US "dares to touch any part of our territory," in an interview in Caracas on Wednesday.
"Let's win in peace. Let's avoid war. But I must say responsibly, let's prepare," Maduro added.
The president also warned that Venezuela's opposition leader and self-declared president Juan Guaido "would sooner or later" be forced to "answer before justice, before the law."
