USA: 'Incredible win' - Tom Brady as Patriots claim record 6th Super Bowl

The New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady described his team's victory over the Los Angeles Rams as "an incredible win," at a press conference following Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday.

Brady, the only player in the National Football League (NFL) history to have won six Super Bowls, said that "it was just an incredible win," noting that "our defence really played the best game they have all season. I

However, he noted that "[we] obviously could have played better offensively."

Commenting on the Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman's award as the 2019 Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player (MVP), Brady said that Edelman "played the best game he has all year."

Brady, who has previously received four Super Bowl MVP awards, added, "[I am] so proud of him, what he's accomplished coming back from his [anterior cruciate] ACL [injury]."

The Patriots defeated the Rams 13-3, winning the Super Bowl for a sixth time. The game turned out to be the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever, exactly 17 years after Brady and head coach Bill Belichick led the Patriots to their first Super Bowl victory in 2002.

They also defeated the Rams at that game, who were playing out of St. Louis at the time. The win brings the New England Patriots' total Super Bowl victories up to six, tying them for the most Lombardi Trophies with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady became the only player to win six Super Bowls, and at 41, the oldest to win it. Belichick also became the oldest head coach to win a Super Bowl.
