The British staple - a fillet of fish - is coated in a batter made from ten heat-packed ingredients and then doused in chillies and hot sauce.
The recipe was developed for a month, with the owners Nick and David perfecting the taste and heat-levels by trying it out on their kitchen team and loyal customers.
The spicy special will be charged at £6.50 ($8.50; €7.50) for a standard-sized portion
The family-run restaurant in Haxby, York, first opened in 1940 and was crowned the UK's best fish and chip shop in 2018.
