USA: Hymn-singing pro-lifers march in San Fran after Roe vs Wade anniv.
Thousands of pro-lifers blocked San Francisco's Market street on Saturday for the 15th edition of the Walk for Life.
A counter protest to defend legal abortions was held at the same time but violence did not break out.
"I'm here today to protest the 'Walk for life' which is not really a walk for life, I'm here to stand for women's choice, women's safe health care and I'm also standing here to protest what Trump and Pence and the religious right are advocating for," one counter protester said.
The event, which included a Roman Catholic Mass and a rally at the Civic Center Plaza, was held days after the 46th anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision which legalised abortion in the US.
