
Iran: Large-scale 'Eqtedar 97' war drills kick off in Isfahan
Large-scale war drills, dubbed 'Eqtedar 97', kicked off in Iran's central province of Isfahan on Friday.
According to Deputy Commander of the Iranian ground forces Kiomars Sharafi, the drills "have begun in the Nasrabad district of Isfahan, with the participation of 12,000 forces of the Iranian army."
Footage shows various types of military equipment, including tanks, fighter jets and helicopters, taking part in the exercises.
