
Mexico: Rescue operation underway after pipeline blast kills at least 21
A rescue operation was underway in Tlahuelilpan, in central Mexico, on Saturday morning after an explosion at a pipeline killed at least 21 people and injured over 71 according to the state governor of Hidalgo.
Fire engines and ambulances were seen at the site of the blast, while paramedics and rescue workers treated victims on site.
Locals had been attempting to steal leaking fuel when they were burned to death, according to Hidalgo Governor Omar Fayad.
