
Germany: Prepared for every scenario - Maas comments Brexit as Bundestag adopts transition law
Members of the German Parliament adopted a new law that regulates relations with the UK during a transition period after Brexit in Berlin on Thursday.
The new law regulates different issues that will occur for British and German citizens as well as for companies in case of an orderly Brexit during two years after the UK departure.
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas stressed that the country is "prepared for every scenario. We continue our strategy for a chaotic Brexit and we will intensify it."
