US military vehicles were seen moving around Syrian's Manbij, on Monday. The US troops are still patrolling the strategic city, near the Turkish border, despite US President Donald Trump's recent announcement that troops will be pulled from the country. For the time being, however, the US troops remain at their local base and continue their patrols.

The Syrian Army claimed to have entered the city on Friday, following a request form the Kurdish YPG to protect the location from a Turkish offensive. Members of the legislative council in Manbij, however, denied the Syrian government forces' alleged entrance in the city, on Saturday.
