Fans were seen gearing up for the exhibition fight between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Saitama on Sunday.

Mayweather, who has accepted an offer from Japanese MMA promoter Rizin, will take on Nasukawa at the Saitama Super Arena on New Year's Eve.

"I am looking forward to seeing how much Tenshin can punch, and how well Mayweather can dodge punches," Sayuri Kouno, a Tenshin fan, commented on the upcoming event.

"I am pretty excited about Mayweather coming out here, giving an exhibition for the people here. He's going to put on a great show," noted a Mayweather's supporter, Kalif Troche.

"Their fields are different, but they will be fighting as representatives of martial arts, so I am looking forward to it tomorrow. I want to see a KO ending," another fan said.

The undefeated 20-year-old Nakusawa who is 27-0 as a kickboxer and 4-0 in mixed martial arts bouts, will be on new ground in the fight, as he will be prohibited from using his feet.

The three-round exhibition match will not be scored and there will be no judges.
