Fans of opposing NBA basketball teams the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, gave their two cents about the recent transfer of LeBron James to the California basketball team, ahead of the teams' Christmas clash at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Tuesday.

While some said LeBron's transfer to the Lakers from the Cleveland Cavs will have a huge impact on the team's performance and its run for the NBA championship, others saw things differently.

"They still need another player. He can't do it by himself," said a fan speaking of the 33-year-old who had signed on with the Lakers in July 2018.

"They have to get their chemistry right to compete with us [Golden State Warriors]," another added.

Lakers won the match 127:101 despite James's departure in the third quarter due to a groin injury.

LeBron James faced off against the Golden State Warriors in the last four Finals of the NBA playoffs, playing for both Cleveland Cavs and Miami Heat, with LeBron's team losing every Finals except 2016 while playing for Miami Heat.
