Villareal coach Javier Calleja appeared satisfied after his team scored a 2:0 victory against Spartak Moscow in Villareal on Thursday and advanced to Europa League’s next round.

"We are very happy with the result and happy that we won" said Villareal coach Javier Calleja, adding that they got the chance to win in their "home."

He also expressed his hope that "it will be the ideal beginning for our upcoming match against Huesca."

Spartak Moscow coach Oleg Kononov expressed his disappointment for losing despite playing a "double-edged" game against Villareal at their home stadium.

Spartak Moscow failed to advance to the next round of Europa League after their defeat in the group stage final against Villareal, who will advance to Group G.
