Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin and EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini were among the delegates who arrived for the first day of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) Ministerial Council in Milan on Thursday.

Delegations were welcomed by Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi and OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger upon arrival.

When asked by Greminger whether he was alright, Ukraine's Klimkin responded 'not exactly' to which the Sec Gen answered 'I can imagine.'

The annually-held meeting will see foreign ministers from the 57 OSCE member states discussing security issues and reviewing the organisation's activities.
