Argentina: 'We lived it with pain' - Boca President on Copa Libertadores Final delay

Postponing the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final was "very sad for Argentinian football," Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici said during a press conference in Buenos Aires on Sunday.

Angelici said the team leaders "lived it with pain," as "a few social misfits, who are always a minority, end up harming a great show awaited by all the Argentinian football."

"We were in an obvious disadvantage yesterday, we are in disadvantage today too. The best thing for Boca was not to play because we were not in equal conditions with River," the team's head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto stated.

The match was delayed twice after Boca's bus was attacked by River supporters on Saturday, before being eventually suspended, and was due to take place on Sunday at 17:00 local time [20:00 GMT], before it was announced that it will be delayed once more.

The new date of the final will be decided at a CONMEBOL meeting in Asuncion on Tuesday, 27 November at 10:00 local time [13:00 GMT].
