Palestinians resumed the ‘Great March of Return’ protests across the Israeli border in the Gaza Strip on Friday, where Qatari Ambassador to Gaza Mohammed Al-Emadi and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar both made an appearance.

Rescue workers and ambulances were deployed to area to treat several protesters who were injured by Israeli forces during the protest.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 37 protesters were injured and dozens more inhaled tear gas.

Qatar, reportedly with Israel’s agreement, transferred $15 million to Gaza’s civil servants on Friday as part of the ongoing ceasefire talks.
