      US President Donald Trump attacked elements of the media during a question and answer session in Washington DC on Wednesday.

      In the course of a heated exchange with Jim Acosta of CNN, Trump called Acosta a "rude terrible person" and said that "CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them."
