Turkey: Saudi prosecutor arrives in Istanbul for Khashoggi investigation
The Saudi public prosecutor leading the investigation into the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi arrived at the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Istanbul on Monday.
After holding talks with the Istanbul chief prosecutor, the Saudi prosecutor, Saud Al Mojeb, is reportedly expected to carry out inspections at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, where Khashoggi was killed more than three weeks ago.
Last week, Al Mojeb stated that the killing of Khashoggi in the consulate was premeditated, reversing a previous official statement that it happened accidentally.
