Belgium: Thousands rally against pension reforms in Brussels
Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Brussels on Tuesday, to rally against the government’s proposed federal pension reform.
Protesters garbed in red and green marched through the rain in defiance of the new pension reform, while demanding better severance payments.
Labour unions called on the workers to march against a new reform which would raise the retirement age limit from 65 to 67.
Similar rallies are scheduled in other Belgian cities.
