      At least 20 people were killed after gunmen opened fire on a military parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz on Saturday, state media reported.

      Unknown gunmen opened fire from behind the stands of a military parade commemorating the 38th anniversary of the onset of the eight-year Iran-Iraq war.

      Four or five gunmen were killed by security and law enforcement forces, according to state media reports.
