
Russia: UK's Skripal suspects 'have nothing to do with Putin' - Peskov
Press Secretary for the Russian President Dmitri Peskov stated that the British authorities' Salisbury case suspects Aleksandr Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov have 'nothing to do' with President Vladimir Putin during an interview in Moscow on Monday.
During the Eastern Economic Forum, Vladimir Putin was asked about Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, and he responded that they are civilians, and not GRU agents as has been alleged.
Petrov and Boshirov said that they visited Salisbury for sightseeing since their friends had been telling them 'for a long time to visit this beautiful city.'
