The closing ceremony for the Eleventh International Military Music Festival 'Spasskaya Tower' was held in Moscow on Sunday.

The annual festival was marked by various classical music concerts and equestrian shows as well as a parade of the honour for heads of states.

The finale included performances by creative teams from Russia, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico and Sri Lanka, amongst others.

A stunning firework display over Red Square finished at the ceremony.

The event was held from August 24 to September 2. The festival featured bands from 11 countries, the total number of artists who participated was over 1,500.
