Venezuela rolled out a new currency in a bid to curb the country's hyperinflation, Monday.
From Monday onwards, sovereign bolivars are legal tender, with five zeros slashed off.
During the transitional period, sovereign bolivars, introduced by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro as part of financial reforms, are set to circulate alongside the old currency.
