Russia: Lukaku warns against complacency after 3:0 win over Panama
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku warned his team against complacency, speaking at a post-match press conference in Sochi on Monday, after netting two of the three goals in his team's win against Panama.
"I think that for us as a team it was really important to start well, and winning the game, which is the most important thing, not the individual performances," said Lukaku.
"As a team we know we have a lot of qualities, we know we have a lot of players that can make the difference at any time. And we were ready today, and we have to move on to the next one because the next game is going to be even more difficult than it was today," he added.
A solid performance by Belgium saw them secure a comfortable 3:0 win over Panama at the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
After a goal-less first half, winger Dries Mertens opened the score in the 47th minute, followed by two goals from Lukaku.
Belgium will play Tunisia on June 23, whereas Panama will meet England on June 24.
