
Russia: No 'racial issues' - FIFA Sec. Gen. talks of 'walm welcome' in Russia
FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura shared her impressions of Russia preparing for the World Cup, sitting down with former English footballer Stan Collymore in Moscow for the latest episode of his show, which aired on RT on Friday.
Samoura told Collymore she was very much "fascinated by the level of commitment of local authorities and more importantly, by the warm welcome" in Russia.
Questioned by Collymore if she had witnessed any racism in Russia, the secretary general said "I have been here for at least 20 times altogether [and] I haven't suffered any racial issues."
