
USA: Trump-Russia investigation jails Dutch lawyer
Dutch lawyer Alex Van der Zwaan became the first person to be sentenced in special counsel Robert Mueller's inquiry into alleged collusion between Russia and Donald Trump 2016 presidential election campaign at a Washington, D.C. district court on Tuesday.
The son-in-law of Russian billionaire German Khan, Van der Zwaan was sentenced to 30 days in prison.
He struck a plea deal with in February after lying about contacts with former-Trump aide Rick Gates, who is also facing investigation.
