Russia: Thousands demand justice at site of Kemerovo blaze

Thousands of people protested near the site of the 'Zimniaya Vishnya' (Winter Cherry) shopping mall fire in Kemerovo, on Tuesday morning, calling for justice for the 64 victims of the blaze.

At least 64 people, including many children, were killed in the fire, which engulfed the shopping mall in Kemerovo on Sunday. According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the fire escape routes were blocked inside the mall. An investigation into the tragedy is underway.

The source of the blaze was on the top floor where several cinema halls and children's playgrounds with attractions were located.

The bodies of 25 victims, including 13 children, have already been identified, according to Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova.
