"I want a medal; I want a medal in multiple disciplines. But I also know I'm going against my competitors. I've been racing against them all season long and they all want a medal too," said US skier Mikaela Shiffrin at her press conference in PyeongChang, on Friday.

Speaking about the number of the events she is going to participate in at the Pyeongchang Games, the 22-year-old said: "I would like to compete in everything, but I'm not sure if I'm actually going to have the energy to do that."

When asked where she keeps her medals from previous competitions, she answered: "I put them in socks," adding: "I'm not going to tell you the exact location, in case you want to go into my house and steal it."

The 2018 Winter Olympic Games are the second Olympic Games for Shiffrin. In 2014, the US athlete claimed her first Olympic gold in the slalom in the Russian city of Sochi.
