SOT, Mihai Tudose, Romanian Prime Minster (Romanian): "Yes. Tonight or tomorrow morning."

SOT, Journalist (Romanian): "What about your meetings tomorrow? You had a busy schedule."

SOT, Mihai Tudose, Romanian Prime Minster (Romanian): "Well, Vice-President Stanescu probably is going to take over the schedule."

SOT, Journalist (Romanian): "How did you manage to lose political support so quickly?"

SOT, Mihai Tudose, Romanian Prime Minster (Romanian): "No, I haven't lost political support, there is political support. The party has decided that a new cabinet is needed, with a new approach."

SOT, Journalist (Romanian): "Why?"

SOT, Mihai Tudose, Romanian Prime Minster (Romanian): "There is always room for improvement. I did not wish to tear the party apart. Perhaps I also have my share of blame. This is what the party has decided. And, as I said in the beginning, I am staying true. The Executive Committee has appointed me, the same Executive Committee ruled that there is room for improvement. Dear lady, come on."

SOT, Journalist (Romanian): "Is there something you think you did wrong?"

SOT, Mihai Tudose, Romanian Prime Minster (Romanian): "I hold myself responsible for not having built more motorways, for not having built more hospitals, but, you see, today we did have a happy event. An investment of almost €500 million, an infrastructure plan in Brasov-Ploiesti. The past year ended well, I regret nothing. My colleagues evaluated the results of my cabinet. I am vice president [of PSD] and I understand that my position is under no threat. If you have any other information. ... Now it's [the spirit within party ranks] good, now it's the best. Until now, it's been tense. Well, this is it. May I leave, please? ... No, I am going to Victory Palace to clear out my desk. Thank you, have a good evening! ... I will not be standing as an interim Prime Minister."
