      Thousands took to the streets of Girona on Sunday to march in support of Spanish unity.

      The protesters displayed numerous placards in favour of unity while also waving Spanish and Catalan flags next to one another.

      The demonstration started at Constitution Square before ending in front of the Girona Town Hall.
