US President Donald Trump offered to act as a mediator between countries seeking claims to the South China Sea during a press conference with Vietnamese President Tran Di Quang in Hanoi on Sunday. “If I can help in any way, I'm a very good mediator, very good arbitrator - I have done plenty of it from both sides", the US president said.Trump also praised China, saying that the country will be "a tremendous help" in terms of future trade and that Russia will also be able to "make a big difference."Trump finished his address by saying that the US will be a "great" trade partner for Vietnam.
